2017 has been a year with many ups and downs. I had so much to look forward towards in 2017 but with a nasty fracture on my fibula all those dreams crashed and instead I had to spend most of my time on crutches just enjoying the views of the mountains on a sideline.
After spent 7 months of 2016 traveling the east coast of Australia on a bicycle and after that road tripping and living in New Zealand we had just got back to Sydney and celebrated the New Years eve with our friends in Sydney. It feels like a lifetime now. We spent 5 months in Sydney from January to May before we travelled to Europe end of May. It was the first time in 3,5 years for me. It was so exciting to see friends and families after so long. We spent 3 months in Europe, Traveling in Spain, Morocco (Africa), Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Looking back at those memories makes me so happy, I had the best time even though I was on crutches most of it. On the good side I got to spend more time with my friends and families, the original plan was to spend most of the time in Switzerland in the mountains.
I have now been back in Sydney for about 4,5 months and are now ready to set of on my next adventure. I'm over the moon exciting for my upcoming trip and what 2018 will have to offer.
What has been you best memory from 2017?
I wanted to share some photos of my best memories of 2017 but I realised pretty quick that I have way to many photos and I can't choose just a few so I will share photos from Christmas instead.
